Pedro de la Rosa celebrates his 100th grand prix this weekend, and HRT laid on a paddock party for him by way of celebration. Parties are always a risky thing for a team to do, for fear of no-one turning up, but HRT were right not to worry: virtually the entire paddock turned up to wish Pedro well, including Bruno, Pastor and Frank. Pedro’s a popular man and he even got quite emotional addressing everyone and talking about a career that began at the Australian Grand Prix in 1999. “It’s just an honour to have made it this far,” he said.
