Scots Formula One driver Susie Wolff revealed that she will appear in a BBC documentary, THE FASTEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD, about her life and career as the only woman currently in F1.
Susie, 30, who is a development driver for Williams, made the announcement yesterday in Barcelona, Spain – where Williams unveiled the new FW35 car, by team mates Pastor Maldonado and Valtteri Bottas. In her role as development driver, Susie was the first to run the car last week ahead of the start of the season.
Directed by her award winning, BAFTA-nominated brother David Stoddart, 31, the no-holds-barred film will be broadcast as part of BBC Scotland’s spring schedule, and features appearances from Formula One race ace Lewis Hamilton and racing legend David Coulthard.
